Parsons in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks an Associate Estimating Engineer to join its cost estimation team. You will assist with quantity takeoffs, Work Breakdown Structures, cost databases, and Basis of Estimate development under supervision of experienced estimators.

Fresh UAE National graduates are welcome to apply. The role involves using engineering drawings, specifications, historical cost data, and estimating software to support reliable project estimates for contracts and programs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Fresh UAE National graduates are welcome to apply.
• Clear understanding of construction contract commercial documents.
• Ability to work with engineering and construction drawings.
• Ability to interpret project specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work accurately with quantities, costs, and estimating information.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare material and quantity takeoffs for contracts using drawings and specifications.
• Perform takeoffs from AutoCAD drawings and other project software.
• Assist with development of detailed Work Breakdown Structures.
• Help define estimating scope based on contract documents and requirements.
• Support estimating leads with historical cost information and database management.
• Collect and document cost information from completed contracts.
• Organize historical information in line with estimating database requirements.
