Job summary

Group AMANA in Dubai seeks a Jr. Equipment Officer to support management, allocation, maintenance and mobilization of equipment across projects. You will work with operations, maintenance, procurement and equipment teams to ensure availability and compliance.

This entry-level role requires a mechanical engineering degree and strong communication, organization and MS Office skills. You will document assets, coordinate mobilization and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Equipment Management, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of construction equipment, maintenance, or plant operations is an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and in a fast‑paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate allocation and deployment of equipment for day-to-day operations.
• Maintain and update equipment delivery, maintenance and asset records.
• Prepare and issue maintenance work orders and follow up on completion.
• Assist with mobilization/demobilization of equipment and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with registrations, insurance, safety certificates and permits.
