Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to assist in the design and development of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include preparing technical drawings, supporting site visits, and coordinating with vendors. This is a full-time, office-based position with no remote work options.

Qualifications

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems components and equipment.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications and documentation using CAD tools.
• Support the engineering team in conducting site visits, inspections and measurements.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, technical submittals and documentation for project execution.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning activities under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and safety regulations.
• Participate in troubleshooting, maintenance and performance evaluation of systems.
• Maintain proper documentation of all engineering tasks and revisions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 02 years of relevant experience (internships or project work preferred).
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting systems or rotating/static equipment (depending on industry focus).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks or Revit.
