Junior Data Analyst - UAE National (Emirati) only GluCare
We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst - UAE National - to support our clinical and operational teams by analyzing healthcare-related datasets, creating dashboards, and generating actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone early in their data career with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for healthcare innovation. Prior marketing experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with healthcare, operational, and research teams to collect, clean, and analyze datasets from EMR systems, wearable devices, CRM platforms, and internal databases.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio to support clinical decision-making and operational planning.
- Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for departments including Clinical Operations, Patient Affairs, and Research.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support senior analysts and data scientists in preparing datasets for research publications and strategic projects.
- Document data processes and ensure data accuracy, privacy, and integrity across systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand data needs and translate them into technical deliverables.
- Generate routine and ad hoc reports for stakeholders as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in data analytics, preferably in healthcare, tech, or operations.
- Proficiency in Excel and one or more data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Understanding of database management, data cleaning, and wrangling techniques.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with healthcare datasets (e.g., EMR, clinical KPIs, patient engagement data) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data protection standards such as HIPAA or GDPR is an advantage.
