Job summary

Intercare Limited is seeking a Chemist to support R&D and quality control activities in Sharjah, UAE. You will design experiments, assist in new product formulations, and perform routine QC on raw materials, packaging, and finished products.

You will document procedures, evaluate materials for compatibility, troubleshoot issues, and prepare reports. The role includes SOP and safety protocol development and close collaboration with production teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques and quality control procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and record-keeping skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• A minimum of 2 years of Industry Experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Assistant Manager New Product Development to design and execute experiments for product improvement.
• Assist in the formulation and development of new products.
• Perform routine quality control tests on raw materials Packaging Materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related concerns.
• Document and maintain accurate records of experimental procedures observations and outcomes.
• Evaluate raw materials for efficacy and compatibility in formulations.
• Troubleshoot and address any quality issues or deviations in the manufacturing process.
• Conduct stability testing to assess product shelf-life and performance over time.
• Prepare detailed reports on R&D and QC activities.
• Create and update product specifications standard operating procedures SOPs and safety protocols as advised by the Senior Chemists.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to cross-functional teams.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new product development.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment regularly.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related concerns.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Other tasks assigned by the Production Manager or Divisional Manager.
