Job summary

Avanta Works in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Junior Chemical Engineer to join our team. The role targets fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience, working under senior engineers on chemical processes and operations.

The position emphasizes research, data analysis, and collaboration to design and refine processes while ensuring safety and quality. Salary is offered with health insurance and transport allowance, and candidates from all nationalities are welcome.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
0-2 years of experience in a similar role (internship or co-op experience can be considered).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
Proficient in using software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or other engineering tools.
Knowledge of process simulation software (e.g. Aspen Plus) is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis on different chemical processes and systems
Assist in design, development, and implementation of new chemical processes
Monitor and troubleshoot existing processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
Collect and analyze data, present findings and recommendations to senior engineers
Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals within specified timelines
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
