Job summary

Namshi is seeking a Junior Buyer to join the Eyewear, Jewellery and Watches team. The role focuses on driving profitable growth through strong brand partnerships, effective seller management, and trend-led assortment planning.

You will own end-to-end buying for EJW categories, plan assortment, pricing, margins, and inventory in line with targets; build relationships with brands and distributors; negotiate margins, funding, exclusives, and joint business plans; analyze sales data and collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, Retail Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in buying, category management, or merchandising.
• Experience working with marketplace sellers and brand partners is mandatory.
• Prior experience in e-commerce / retail / consumer brands preferred.

Responsibilities

• Marketplace Management: Manage marketplace sellers’ performance including selection, pricing, availability, and content quality.
• Buying & Category Management: Own end-to-end buying for assigned categories across EJW; plan assortment, pricing, margins and inventory.
• Seller & Brand Partnerships: Build and manage relationships with brands, sellers, and distributors; identify, onboard and scale partnerships; lead commercial negotiations.
• External Stakeholder Management: Act as primary contact for external partners and brands; collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations.
• Data & Performance Analysis: Analyze sales, trends and customer insights; track category performance against targets; use data to identify growth opportunities.
