Responsibilities

• Build LLM-powered features: retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, chat and Q&A interfaces, and task-focused AI agents.
• Develop secure, scalable Python backends and APIs using FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Integrate with commercial and open-source LLM providers (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, open-weight models).
• Implement vector stores and semantic search pipelines: chunking, embedding, indexing and retrieval strategies.
• Contribute to multi-agent and orchestration workflows using LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph, AutoGen or CrewAI.
• Tune solutions for response time, token efficiency and cost.
• Automate governance and assurance workflows end to end: intake, review checkpoints, approvals, evidence capture and reporting.
• Build and maintain integrations with CI/CD, MLOps, DataOps tooling, security tooling, ticketing systems.
• Develop and monitor data pipelines with quality checks, failure detection and automated alerting against SLAs.
• Instrument production AI systems with automated monitoring for model performance, drift, bias indicators, data quality, security events.

About the role

We are building an AI governance and assurance automation platform: a set of dashboards, data pipelines, integrations and AI-powered services that give leadership real-time visibility of how AI systems across the enterprise are performing, where risk is accumulating, and whether controls are being met.

You will join a small engineering team as a hands-on developer working under the direction of a Senior AI Engineer. This is a build role: you will write production Python, ship LLM-powered features, wire up integrations, instrument monitoring, and support releases. You will not be expected to set the architecture: you will be expected to implement it well, test it properly, and document it clearly.

What you will work on

AI and application development

• Build LLM-powered features: retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, chat and Q&A interfaces, and task-focused AI agents.
• Develop secure, scalable Python backends and APIs using FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Integrate with commercial and open-source LLM providers (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, open-weight models) for real use cases.

Automation, integration and data

• Build and maintain integrations with engineering and operations platforms (CI/CD pipelines, MLOps and DataOps tooling, security operations tooling, ticketing and collaboration systems).
• Develop and monitor data pipelines that feed governance metrics, with data quality checks, failure detection and automated alerting against defined SLAs.

Monitoring, dashboards and reporting

• Instrument production AI systems with automated monitoring for model performance, drift, bias indicators, data quality, security events and availability.
