Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Freshers with relevant qualifications may be considered.
• Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of Tally, QuickBooks or Zoho Books.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently with senior guidance.
• Willingness to learn and coordinate with cross-department teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Record daily transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
• Prepare and process customer invoices and supplier bills.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Verify invoices, POs, receipts and supporting documents before processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger balances.
• Maintain records using spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Assist with monthly financial reports and expense summaries.
• Monitor outstanding payments and assist with follow-ups.
• Track operational expenses related to transportation, warehousing, and logistics services.
• Assist with petty cash management and cash transaction records.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger under supervision.
• Organize documents for internal reviews and audits.
• Identify discrepancies and report to senior accountant.
• Coordinate with departments to collect invoices and financial data.
• Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and by deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
