Job summary

Numerus Group in Dubai is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the finance team. You will assist with monthly close procedures, prepare financial statements and support reconciliations while learning our processes.

You will analyze revenues and expenses, process accounts payable and receivable, and help with ad hoc reporting for senior management. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential to collaborate across departments in a dynamic, multi-market group.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures.
• Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses for accurate recording.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Support the Senior Accountant with ad hoc projects and reporting.
