Zapegg Tax Consultant is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This role is suitable for an accounting professional looking to develop practical experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax documentation. The successful candidate will support daily finance activities while maintaining accurate records and assisting senior accounting staff with routine financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations under the guidance of senior accountants.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting financial documents.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and account summaries.
• Verify invoices, expenses, and payment records for accuracy.
• Maintain organized physical and digital accounting files.
• Assist with VAT and tax-related documentation and reporting requirements.
• Support internal and external audit activities by preparing required records.Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with payment follow-ups.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and financial documentation.
• Ensure financial information is handled confidentially and according to company procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a finance-related position is preferred.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax procedures is an advantage.
