Overview Of The Role

The Junior HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for supporting senior line management on human capital management matters, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives, and reinforcing a culture of performance and diversity. This role involves creating HR strategies that align with business plans, implementing HR initiatives to improve performance, and ensuring compliance with Group HR policies. The Junior HRBP is also tasked with coaching senior management, facilitating organizational development, and fostering employee engagement across business units.

What You Will Do

Organisational Development Strategy

  • Create a HR strategy and annual HR Plan in liaison with business MD, Group MD, and Group HR Director.
  • Communicate plans and progress to HR Function and Business Units.
  • Support a continuous improvement environment for HR activities.

Capability

  • Ensure proper induction and productivity of new employees.
  • Develop succession plans and retention strategies for key talent.
  • Execute learning and development plans.
  • Formulate and implement performance management plans.

Training & Development

  • Specify and implement training initiatives as part of the HR Plan.
  • Liaise with Group Training Department to ensure delivery of training initiatives.
  • Identify and deliver training needs for key staff.
  • Ensure all key positions have identified successors.

Employee Relations

  • Manage ER issues within business units.
  • Support line managers to create a culture of engagement aligned with Al Futtaim values.
  • Act as an advisor to line managers to minimize risk and ensure legal compliance.
  • Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures.

Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted business partner and coach to senior management.
  • Measure and improve employee engagement across business units.
  • Advise, coach, and mentor management and HR teams.
  • Monitor compliance to manpower budgets and employee engagement plans.

Workforce Optimisation

  • Advise on creating and managing a lean, multi-skilled workforce.
  • Facilitate reorganization and consolidation of business structures for efficiency.
  • Communicate organizational messages and monitor feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with localization policies and targets.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in mentoring and coaching management teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR strategies effectively.
What Qualifies You For The Role
