Job summary

Ampstek in Dubai is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join onsite. You will design and deliver scalable Java/Spring Boot solutions, mentor a team, and drive production deployments and CI/CD practices.

Ideal candidate has 6+ years of Java experience, strong Spring/Microservices skills, and a track record of delivering robust enterprise applications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot
• Strong expertise in Java 8+ and Spring ecosystem (MVC, Data JPA, Security)
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services
• Proficient in Oracle SQL/PL/SQL and query optimization
• Experience with Apache Tomcat deployment and configuration
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API integrations
• Experience with SVN, Git, Maven and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to analytics/tools like Tableau or Google Analytics
