An Academic Vice Principal is required for an Immediate Start

Education and Experience

• A Masters or Ph.D. in an education setting is preferred
• Administration experience at either the Vice Principal, Principal or senior level
• American Curriculum experience
• Qualified Teacher Status
• Five years experience
• Must be female as per government regulation

Responsibilities

The Vice Principal serves as a member of the administrative team to assist in providing professional leadership to organize, administer, supervise, and evaluate a creative program. Perform a variety of administrative duties involved in certain aspects of school operations including academic oversight of Heads of Department, Academic Instruction, and Strategic Planning for Termly Assessments, reviewing mark distributions and gradebooks including checking students’ termly reports and end of year reports.

The school prefers experience of the American curriculum, but will consider other curriculum backgrounds as long as the cultural fit works and how teachers adapt to situations that demand strong differentiation skills, not only academically, but linguistically and culturally too. This is not a western expat school and caters mostly for local and Arab expatriate children. There is a gender separation after elementary.
