IT team member - Systems specialist

Purpose of Role
Ensure effective management of the school's data systems to support teaching, learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and debugging of computer systems.
- Provide IT support as required.
- Keep up to date with IT best practices.
- Manage data collection, analysis and timely reporting.
- Design and manage data workflows.
- Maintain ISAMS records.
- Upgrade systems and notify staff of changes.
- Produce and run statistical reports.
- Implement child protection, safeguarding and data protection policies.
- Manage annual rollover.
- Collaborate on all aspects of IT systems.
- Consolidate data into a consistent source.
- Act as mediator and communicate expectations and reporting.
- Build credibility with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Support management of IT subscriptions and programmes.
- Ensure all systems are up to date and efficient.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree related to the field.
- Previous experience in a school setting.
- Proven data management experience.
- Strong knowledge of MIS platforms.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Positive and flexible approach.
- Desirable: Familiarity with JCQ guidelines and DfE data requirements.
