Job Summary (List Format):
  • Serve as a member of the IT Service Desk team providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for system users.
  • Deploy and upgrade Windows operating systems including imaging desktops and laptops.
  • Install configure and support a range of business applications such as Microsoft Office Suite Adobe and AutoCAD.
  • Migrate user data and profiles to new systems as part of deployment or upgrade projects.
  • Manage the distribution inventory and tracking of computer equipment and accessories.
  • Utilize knowledge of Active Directory and systems administration to support user and system needs.
  • Escalate complex support issues to appropriate IT team members when necessary.
  • Ensure all ITIL processes and best practices are followed throughout project and support activities.
  • Maintain disciplined troubleshooting skills and proactive customer service attitude.
  • Communicate effectively with users and team members both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborate with team members and follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution and satisfaction.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks within a busy technical support environment.
  • Leverage experience with technical engineering or geoscience applications where applicable.
