Job Summary (List Format) :
- Serve as a member of the IT Service Desk team, providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for system users.
- Deploy and upgrade Windows operating systems, including imaging desktops and laptops.
- Install, configure, and support a range of business applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and AutoCAD.
- Migrate user data and profiles to new systems as part of deployment or upgrade projects.
- Manage the distribution, inventory, and tracking of computer equipment and accessories.
- Utilize knowledge of Active Directory and systems administration to support user and system needs.
- Escalate complex support issues to appropriate IT team members when necessary.
- Ensure all ITIL processes and best practices are followed throughout project and support activities.
- Maintain disciplined troubleshooting skills and proactive customer service attitude.
- Communicate effectively with users and team members, both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate with team members and follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution and satisfaction.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks within a busy technical support environment.
- Leverage experience with technical engineering or geoscience applications where applicable.
