About the Role
We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and keeping systems running smoothly. You will support our server infrastructure, networks, end‑user systems, applications, and collaboration services. This role needs someone who is hands‑on, organized, and communicates well. The ideal person is calm in busy situations, learns fast, and works with ownership.
Key Responsibility Areas & Expected Skill Level
Server Support
- Monitor and review HP server logs.
- Review Windows Event Viewer for alerts.
- Verify daily backup completion.
- Monitor Active Directory replication and DNS health.
- Familiar with Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022.
- Basic – Should understand server components and alerts.
- Can do first‑level troubleshooting and escalate when needed.
Network Support
- Configure and troubleshoot HP and Cisco network switches.
- Manage VLAN assignments and switch port configurations.
- Work with Aruba Access Controllers (SSID, VLAN mapping, authentication).
- Check branch connectivity and Site‑to‑Site VPN status.
- Review device status, bandwidth, PoE, and link issues.
- Above Basic – Comfortable handling VLANs, switches, and wireless controller settings.
- Able to solve most connectivity issues independently.
System & Directory Services / Mail
- Manage AD users, groups, and GPOs.
- Manage Windows Print Server and resolve queue issues.
- Manage Office 365 users, mailboxes, and licenses.
- Troubleshoot access to shared folders and mapped drives.
- Resolve OneDrive and SharePoint sync issues.
- Above Basic – Can work independently on user management, access, and Office 365 issues.
End-User Support & Applications
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 issues.
- Resolve MS Office / application / driver / desktop profile issues.
- Support ERP and CRM access issues.
- Check and fix Avaya IP phone setup and issues.
- Manage endpoint alerts and isolation cases.
- Provide remote support through AnyDesk or TeamViewer.
- Log issues and follow up until resolved.
- Strong – Should show excellent troubleshooting skills and quick response.
- Communicates clearly while resolving issues.
Process & Documentation
- Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory.
- Follow escalation procedures.
- Communicate clearly with users and management.
- Maintain data confidentiality and accountability.
- Strong – Works with structure, ownership, and reliability.
What You Should Bring
- 2–5 years of hands‑on IT support experience.
- Good understanding of Windows environments.
- Working knowledge of Switches, VLANs, Active Directory, Office 365.
- Clear and friendly communication skills.
- A patient and solution‑focused mindset.
