Job description

We are looking for a technically skilled and serviceoriented IT Specialist F&B to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be the goto expert for all IT systems supporting our Food & Beverage operations with a strong focus on Oracle MICROS POS and Symphony platforms. You will play a critical part in ensuring smooth and secure IT operations across all F&B outlets supporting staff maintaining system reliability and helping to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

POS & Application Support

  • Configure maintain and troubleshoot Oracle MICROS POS and Symphony systems.
  • Manage menu updates user access pricing changes and outlet configurations.
  • Ensure system integration with Opera PMS FMC inventory systems and payment gateways.

Network Management

  • Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN and WiFi connectivity within F&B outlets.
  • Ensure consistent secure connectivity for POS terminals tablets and kitchen systems.
  • Work with the infrastructure team to resolve network issues affecting F&B operations.

EndUser Support

  • Provide firstline support for F&B staff on POS terminals printers KDS tablets etc.
  • Deliver user training and refreshers on Oracle MICROS and Symphony.
  • Track and document support issues resolutions and patterns for continuous improvement.

Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with Oracle and thirdparty vendors for system support upgrades and escalations.
  • Monitor vendor SLAs to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Support vendor selection contract renewals and policy compliance.

System Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Perform regular system backups software updates and documentation.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Assist with new outlet openings renovations and hardware installations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT experience preferably in hospitality or F&B environments.
  • Handson experience with Oracle MICROS POS and Symphony.
  • Solid understanding of networking principles (routers switches VLANs firewalls).
  • Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts weekends and holidays as needed.
