Qualifications

Job description

Project Governance:

  1. Support Data Capture project execution through the IT Project delivery methodology/framework to ensure the project is delivered with appropriate governance structures in place.
  2. Ensure the project is scoped and initiated in collaboration with internal stakeholders and support functions.
  3. Coordinate and chair program and/or project steering committee meetings.
  4. Establish governance and communication strategies for the project, ensuring communication plans are in place.
  5. Monitor compliance with policies and standards.

Project Tracking & Monitoring:

  1. Track project progress and provide regular status reports to sponsors, SteerCo, IT PMO, and project sponsors.
  2. Manage risk, issue, and change resolution processes, working with leaders to take corrective actions as needed.
  3. Oversee project resources to ensure timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.

Project Delivery:

  1. Chair all project-based meetings, including project kick-offs and regular team meetings, such as daily stand-ups.
  2. Create and maintain project and workstream plans.
  3. Work with Business SPOCs to ensure Business Requirement Documents are in place and obtain necessary sign-offs.
  4. Ensure all documentation is stored appropriately in the central repository.
  5. Collaborate with Business SPOCs during UAT phases.
  6. Apply waterfall and agile principles (as agreed with PMO) to ensure well-planned cutovers and transition to BAU.
  7. Regularly review project delivery performance and contribute to improving systems, procedures, and standards for enhanced capabilities.

Administration:

  1. Update the Head of IT PMO and IT PMO analysts regularly.
  2. Serve as SPOC for delivery partners/vendors.
  3. Engage closely with project stakeholders and sponsors.
  4. Coordinate with external and internal entities to ensure team service availability and compliance.

Requirements:

  1. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business or a related IT field; professional certifications like PMP or Prince2 are preferred.
  2. Required Experience: Minimum of 8 years in IT Project Management.
  3. Job-Specific Skills: Extensive experience in project and program management within the technology sector, UAE experience, proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, organizational change management knowledge, advanced project and change management skills, budget and resource management, strategic thinking, facilitation, negotiation, problem resolution, stakeholder relationship building, customer-centric approach, and excellent communication skills in English.
