Job summary

Binding Partnerships in Dubai seeks a proactive IT HelpDesk Support to manage daily IT operations in a global investment firm. You will provide daily helpdesk services for 19 users, maintain the data centre, manage patch updates, and liaise with local service providers and the Head Office. Ideal candidates possess IT knowledge with a positive attitude and the ability to work within a multi-cultural team. Job Overview

This opportunity is for a back office IT HelpDesk Support role for a global investment management firm. Our clients IT infrastructure is managed by the Head Office located in Europe. OS, File, Email, Printer, and Blackberry servers are managed by the headquarters. What is managed locally are telephony, internet and the data centre where the combo servers are located.

Responsibilities

1. Daily Helpdesk support for all users (19 users)
2. Data Centre maintenance including combo servers and local applications
3. Patch updates when required
4. Manage telephony and internet
5. Liaise with local service providers on hardware
6. Liaise with the Head Office on IT issues raised by users

Qualifications

The person must have IT knowledge and expertise that will meet the requirements of the business. Must be proactive and capable of thinking outside the box. Should have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a multi‑cultural organization.
