Job summary

Peergrowth in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Manager – IT (Business Applications) to lead the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of the organization's business applications, IT solutions, and websites. The role spans the full application lifecycle from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and delivery.

You will work with internal IT teams, stakeholders, cybersecurity, and external vendors to ensure reliable, secure technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a similar IT, business applications, systems, or software development role.
• Strong understanding of software development and application lifecycle management.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of network management, system administration, and cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and enhance business applications, IT solutions, and websites across platforms.
• Support application upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and improvements.
• Design, develop, code, debug, and maintain applications using appropriate technologies.
• Conduct comprehensive software testing and quality assurance throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT security to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
