Job summary

Aquaness Chemicals Sole Proprietorship LLC in Dubai is seeking a Laboratory Chemist/Technician to perform routine and specialized testing on raw materials, finished products, and customer samples.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Chemistry or related field, 2–3 years of experience (5 years preferred) in industrial labs, ISO 17025 awareness and certificate, proficiency with ASTM/IP/ISO methods, and strong reporting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering Technology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• ISO 17025 awareness training is required.
• Experience in water treatment chemicals, laboratory testing, ASTM/IP/ISO methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing on raw materials, finished products, and customer samples.
• Conduct analytical testing according to ASTM, IP, ISO, and in-house company test methods.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, standards, and test solutions.
• Record, review, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Investigate out-of-specification results and assist in troubleshooting product quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, chemicals, glassware, and consumables.
• Coordinate with Production, Technical Service, Procurement, and Sales on testing requirements.
• Maintain laboratory supplies and gather quotations for calibration, maintenance, and supply.
