Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a Chemist for a full-time, on-site role in Dubai. You will support daily laboratory operations, perform chemical analysis and testing, and prepare technical reports while ensuring ISO/IEC 17025:2017 compliance.

Responsibilities include operating lab instruments, maintaining records, and contributing to QA/QC processes. The ideal candidate has a chemistry-related degree and 2–5 years of experience with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Arabic language skills are preferred.

Job description

We are seeking a Chemist for a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. The role will support daily laboratory operations, performing chemical analysis, testing, and reporting activities while ensuring compliance with quality assurance and quality control standards, including ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.

The Chemist will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing of soil and water samples, operating laboratory equipment, maintaining accurate records, and preparing technical reports. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret test results and ensure accurate reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis and laboratory testing of soil and water samples
• Operate, maintain, and monitor laboratory instruments and equipment
• Record test results accurately and prepare laboratory reports
• Follow laboratory procedures and quality control requirements
• Support compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and laboratory best practices
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure data accuracy
• Assist with equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance
• Collaborate with laboratory team members to complete testing requirements efficiently

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a chemistry laboratory environment
• Experience in soil, Metal and/or water testing is preferred
• Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality control practices, and laboratory equipment
• Familiarity with LIMS systems is preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Arabic language skills preferred
