Job summary

GEMS Founders School - Dubai South is seeking an Islamic Teacher (Bilingual) for immediate start in a vibrant primary setting. You will design engaging bilingual lessons, nurture curiosity, and align instruction with the English National Curriculum while fostering a supportive school community and strong family partnerships.

As one of the first teachers in a growing campus, you will influence curriculum and culture, with professional development and clear pathways within the GEMS Founders family

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Education or a relevant Bachelor’s degree with a recognized Equivalency certificate.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting, following the National Curriculum for England.
• Strong knowledge of effective teaching, assessment, and differentiation strategies to support student progress.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging, and challenging learning environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills, with a positive approach to working with colleagues, students, and the wider school community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bilingual Islamic education to primary students with engaging lessons.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned to the English National Curriculum for primary years.
• Assess and monitor student progress, using differentiation to meet needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student wellbeing and growth.
• Participate in safeguarding and school community activities as required.

About Us GEMS Founders School - Dubai South is one of the newest additions to the successful GEMS Founders family of schools. We opened our doors in 2024 as a British curriculum school delivering the National Curriculum for England. We are an all-through school offering education from Foundation Stage through Key Stage 4 but are growing year-on-year towards becoming a full FS1-Year 13.
