Job summary

GEMS Founders School - Dubai South is seeking an EYFS Teacher to join in January 2027, delivering a UK curriculum in a nurturing environment that fosters confidence and creativity.

We welcome newly qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about developing young learners through engaging, collaborative teaching and strong partnerships with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education (or equivalent) with recognised postgrad teaching qualification.
• PGCE with QTS or equivalent is required.
• Newly qualified teachers encouraged to apply.
• Experience teaching in early years settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and its assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with colleagues, students and families.

Responsibilities

• Teach EYFS in line with the National Curriculum for England.
• Plan engaging lessons and assess progress with differentiation.

GEMS Founders School - Dubai South is one of the newest additions to the successful GEMS Founders family of schools. We opened our doors in 2024 as a British curriculum school delivering the National Curriculum for England. We are an all-through school offering education from Foundation Stage through Key Stage 4 but are growing year-on-year towards becoming a full FS1-Year 13. Skills Description

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or a relevant Bachelor's degree with a recognised Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply, with enthusiasm for developing their teaching practice and growing within a supportive school environment.
• Experience teaching within an early years school setting, following the National Curriculum for England.
• Strong knowledge of effective teaching, assessment, and differentiation strategies to support student progress.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging, and challenging learning environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills, with a positive approach to working with colleagues, students, and the wider school community.
