Bird & Bird in Dubai seeks an IP Assistant to support our UAE offices. You will be part of the Intellectual Property team, assisting with trade marks and other IP matters under the Head of the IP Group for the Middle East.

The role offers training, exposure to cross-border portfolios, and the opportunity to develop client relationships while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• At least two years' experience in managing international trade marks and IP portfolios.
• Proactive, adaptable and commercially minded, with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Arabic and English.

Mansioni

• Provide paralegal support to the IP team on trade marks and other IP matters, including documentation and renewals.
• Assist in managing worldwide trade mark and design portfolios, filing programmes, and related correspondence.
• Assist with prosecution issues, responses to Office objections, oppositions, and IP due diligence.
• Monitor disputes and manage status updates for trade mark matters and domain name disputes.
• Prepare IP-related agreements and conduct online investigations and due diligence.
• Maintain IP databases, docketing, and client/matter records; assist with reporting and client quotations.
• Support team with client communications, internal training, and ad hoc tasks.
