Job summary

Acesoft Labs (India) Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced IoT Edge Computing Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable IoT and edge solutions in the UAE. You will work across devices, gateways, edge platforms, and cloud environments to enable real-time data collection and analysis.

The role requires strong skills in Python/C/Java, MQTT, and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes) with on-site and hybrid work modes. Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and edge AI is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of IoT edge computing/embedded systems.
• Strong programming in Python, C, or Java.
• Experience with IoT platforms, device management, and protocols.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end IoT and edge solutions across devices, gateways, cloud.
• Collect, process, transmit, and analyze real-time data from sensors.
• Configure IoT devices, gateways, provisioning, monitoring, OTA updates.
• Develop IoT apps using Python, C, or Java.
• Implement MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, REST, OPC-UA protocols.
• Build edge processing to reduce latency and cloud dependency.
• Deploy containers at edge with Docker and K3s.
• Collaborate with data science teams for Edge AI models.
• Ensure security best practices: device identities and encryption.
• Participate in architecture discussions and production support.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
