Job summary

Cooper Fitch is seeking a Head of Investments for a privately owned investment organisation in Dubai to oversee a diversified portfolio and work closely with the principal on investment decisions.

The role combines ongoing portfolio management, treasury oversight and transaction execution, with meaningful exposure to real estate and fixed income alongside other asset classes. It requires strategic insight, strong leadership and the ability to manage relationships with external partners.

Qualifications

• Significant investment experience within a family office, investment firm or comparable organisation.
• Strong portfolio management experience, with exposure to real estate and fixed income.
• Experience evaluating and executing transactions, alongside managing existing assets and exits.
• Sound understanding of treasury, liquidity management and investment risk.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio performance, asset allocation and investment risk, identifying opportunities to enhance returns.
• Manage existing investments through their lifecycle, including monitoring, restructuring, refinancing and exits.
• Oversee treasury activities, liquidity planning and cash management to support investment commitments and business requirements.
• Assess new investment opportunities and work alongside the principal on due diligence, structuring, negotiations and execution.
• Manage relationships with investment managers, banks, advisers and other external partners.
• Provide clear portfolio reporting and recommendations to support the principal’s decisions.
