Job summary

Embassy Capital seeks an Investment Analyst/Associate to assist the Asset Management vertical across deal origination, due diligence, financial modeling, and portfolio management. You will work directly with the Asset & Investment Manager and the CEO, gaining exposure to live transactions in a hands-on boutique setting.

The role offers involvement with live deals across real estate and alternative assets, enabling robust modelling and analytical output with clear ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years’ experience in asset management or related analytical roles.
• Strong financial modelling skills and ability to build from scratch if needed.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Economics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investment due diligence including market research and financial screening.
• Prepare investment memos and presentation materials for stakeholders.
• Build financial models across real estate and alternatives, including DCF and waterfall.
• Support deal execution by coordinating workstreams and data rooms.
• Support origination and business development through industry events and relationships.
• Monitor portfolio investments and flag material variances.
• Maintain databases and model libraries to support growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking an Investment Analyst/Associate to support the Asset Management vertical across deal origination, due diligence, financial modeling, and portfolio management. The role offers direct exposure to live transactions and portfolio activity, working closely with the Asset & Investment Manager, and the CEO. This is a hands-on role for a sharp, self-driven individual who wants genuine responsibility from day one in a high-quality boutique environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct investment due diligence: market research, competitive analysis, sponsor review, and preliminary financial screening.


• Prepare investment memos, screening notes, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.


• Build and maintain financial models across real estate and alternative asset classes, potentially including DCF, returns waterfall, and scenario analyses.


• Support deal execution by coordinating workstreams, maintaining data rooms, and tracking transaction timelines.


• Support origination and business development by attending industry events, cultivating sector relationships, and contributing to Embassy Capital’s external profile.


• Monitor portfolio investments: tracking KPIs, reviewing investee reporting, and flagging material performance variances.


• Maintain internal databases, model libraries, and process documentation to support a growing investment platform.

• 1-4 years’ experience in asset management, private banking, investment banking, M&A and deals consulting, or a closely related analytical role.


• Strong financial modelling skills – ability to analyze financial models, test assumptions, and to build from scratch if needed.


• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.


• Exposure to real estate, infrastructure, or alternative assets is a meaningful advantage.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to distil complex analysis for senior stakeholders.


• Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable working in a lean, high-growth boutique environment.


• Fluency in English is required, and a second/third language is preferred (Arabic is a plus).


• CFA Level 1 or beyond is a plus.
