Job summary

Revolut is seeking Information Security Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 to support monitoring, detection and response efforts across our global systems. You will work with experienced Security Engineers, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to protecting our platform and customers.

The role is hybrid with office days and relocation/travel support. Open to international applicants, with visa assistance, travel costs, and accommodation provided (conditions apply).

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, cyber security, or related field (graduating 2028).
• Basic programming experience or interest in software engineering (Python).
• Fluent English with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and enhances security monitoring and response capabilities.
• Monitor and analyse security alerts to identify threats.
• Respond to security incidents and collaborate with engineering teams to fix vulnerabilities.
• Automate and improve security monitoring, analysis, and response processes.
• Support threat hunting initiatives and design data-driven risk detection solutions.
• Learn and apply new security tools and technologies for analysis and remediation.
• Share updates with global teams and receive feedback for growth.

The Internship Programme is open to international applicants ready to relocate to one of our tech hubs in Poland, Portugal, the UAE, or the UK. We'll support you with visa assistance, travel costs, and accommodation (conditions apply). You'll be expected to spend around 3 days per week in the office (where role and location allow).

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing new capabilities for our security monitoring and response platform
• Monitoring and analysing security alerts to identify potential threats
• Responding to security incidents and collaborating with engineering teams to fix vulnerabilities
• Automating and improving security monitoring, analysis, and response processes
• Supporting threat hunting initiatives and designing data-driven solutions for risk detection
• Learning and applying cutting‑edge tools and technologies for security analysis and remediation
• Sharing updates with global teams and learning from senior engineers
• Receiving regular feedback to support your development

What You'll Need

• To be in your penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information security, cyber security, or a related field (graduating in 2028)
• On track for a 2:1 or higher (or equivalent grade)
• Experience or an interest in software engineering (Python) and data analysis
• A proactive mindset and passion for problem-solving
• Fluency in English
• Great communication and organisational skills
• To be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, diverse team environment
• Full‑time availability for Summer 2027
• The ability to travel to a Revolut office in your country of employment
• A willingness to attend the office at least 3 days per week (this is a hybrid role)

Nice to have

• Experience with threat hunting, penetration testing, or Capture the Flag challenges
