Job summary

Revolut is offering an Application Security Engineering Internship in the UAE. You will join our Technology team to design and test applications, run scans to identify risks, and help protect our systems. The role supports students in the penultimate year of their degree, with a path to the Graduate Programme.

Open to international applicants, relocation support to a Revolut tech hub in the UAE, Poland, Portugal, or the UK, and hybrid work with around 3 days in the office per week.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, maths, physics, or a related field (graduating in 2028).
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential.
• Portfolio of coding projects or open-source contributions.

Responsibilities

• Run SAST and DAST security scans to identify vulnerabilities and OWASP issues.
• Review system configurations with guidance and checklists.
• Document findings from security tests and share them with senior engineers.
• Research emerging security threats and contribute to knowledge bases.
• Participate in security training sessions and team discussions.
• Support developers by flagging security issues and suggesting improvements.

The Internship Programme is open to international applicants ready to relocate to one of our tech hubs in Poland, Portugal, the UAE, or the UK. We’ll support you with visa assistance, travel costs, and accommodation (conditions apply). You’ll be expected to spend around 3 days per week in the office (where role and location allow).

What You’ll Be Doing

What You’ll Need

• To be in your penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, maths, physics, or a related field (graduating in 2028)
• On track for a 2:1 or higher (or equivalent grade)
• A portfolio of coding side projects or open-source contributions
• A proactive, results-driven mindset
• Fluency in English
• Great communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• To be comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse team environment
• Full-time availability for Summer 2027
• The ability to travel to a Revolut office in your country of employment
• A willingness to attend the office at least 3 days per week (this is a hybrid role)
