Job summary

Hermes Middle East in Dubai is seeking an Internal Control professional to strengthen transaction reviews and policy deployment within the finance function. The role focuses on detecting irregularities, ensuring proper justification and documentation of discounts, quotas, and adjustments, and supporting group-wide compliance initiatives.

You will collaborate across functions, communicate effectively, and adapt to a dynamic environment while contributing to risk management and control framework

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in finance or audit.
• Experience with policy deployment and training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine transaction reviews to detect irregularities and verify documentation.
• Support deployment of group policies and procedures, including morning briefings and training organization.
• Assist in preparation of group-level compliance questionnaires, including CHIC and anti-corruption assessments.

Role Summary

As part of the Internal Control team, your responsibilities will include-but are not limited to-the following:

• Performing routine transaction review to detect irregularities and verify that all the transactions are properly justified and documented (e.g., discounts, KB quotas, forced pricing, manual adjustments)
• Supporting with the deployment of group policies and procedures, morning brief and training organization

Assisting in the preparation of group-level compliance questionnaires, including CHIC and anti-corruption assessments

• Strong curiosity and drive to understand risk and control frameworks
• Ability to communicate effectively and escalation issues appropriately to process owners and direct managers
• Flexibility and resilience in navigating dynamic and evolving environments
• Collaborative mindset with a positive approach to cross-functional teamwork
