Job summary

Al Ghurair is seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to assist in developing and executing the internal audit plan. The role focuses on conducting internal audit reviews in line with the audit plan, performing fieldwork, and contributing to investigations and fraud reviews.

The position requires 3-5 years of audit experience, preferably with Big 4 or Blue Chip training in UAE, and strong English communication and reporting skills. On-site at Deira, with full-time schedule.

Job description

Assist Audit Manager to develop and execute the internal audit plan and to take a role in the execution of audit fieldwork. The role will operate primarily through the conduct of Internal Audit reviews in accordance with the Internal Audit Plan. Fieldwork and contributing to ad hoc projects, investigations, incidents and fraud reviews required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assigned audit engagements.
• Identifies and communicates issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant to business and risk.
• Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk.
• Discharges audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.
• Obtains and reviews evidence ensuring audit conclusions are well-documented.
• Ensures adherence at all times to all applicable department and professional standards.
• Communicates assigned tasks to engagement team in a manner that is clear and concise ensuring high quality, accurate, and efficient results.
• Organises personal effort to be risk-based, productive, and efficient at all times.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
