Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Interior Design Inspector to join our UAE project team. You will inspect interior fit-out and finishing works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specs, and QA/QC requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, with strong knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, FF&E, and coordination with contractors. UAE consultancy experience is preferred, AutoCAD proficiency beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in interior design supervision, fit-out, or construction.
• UAE experience in consultancy or supervision preferred.
• Knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, FF&E and fit-out works.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect interior fit-out and finishing works against drawings and specs.
• Perform site inspections and monitor workmanship and materials.
• Review submissions, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve issues.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and reports.
• Assist with snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and UAE authority requirements.
