Job summary

Interifix Technical Services LLC in Dubai is seeking a junior interior designer with 1+ year UAE experience to support design and fit-out projects across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors.

The role requires AutoCAD expertise, knowledge of 3DS Max/SketchUp and Photoshop, and strong communication skills to collaborate with site teams and clients. We offer a collaborative environment and project exposure.

Qualifications

• 1+ year interior design experience in UAE.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and fit-out processes.
• Experience with 3DS Max or SketchUp, Photoshop and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, sections and joinery details in AutoCAD.
• Assist in producing 3D renders based on client requirements.
• Research and source materials including flooring, paints, fabrics and wall coverings.
• Conduct site surveys, take measurements, document conditions and identify restrictions.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards and technical layouts for client meetings.
• Coordinate with estimation team to align designs with BOQs and quotations.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure designs and materials are implemented correctly.
• Maintain design files, revisions, catalogs and client-approved documents.
• Support the team through the design and fit-out process to deliver approved concepts.

Our team delivers practical and aesthetically pleasing interiors, covering concept design, space planning, and complete fit-out execution. Our services include interior renovation, carpentry and joinery, flooring, painting, kitchen upgrades, partitions, ceilings, lighting, AC maintenance, plumbing, electrical works, handyman services, preventive maintenance, and general repairs.

We focus on quality workmanship, timely delivery, and transparent communication to help property owners, tenants, businesses, and landlords upgrade and maintain their spaces with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details using AutoCAD.
• Assist in producing 3D renders based on client requirements.
• Research and source suitable materials including flooring, paint finishes, fabrics, and wall coverings.
• Conduct site surveys, take accurate measurements, document existing conditions, and identify MEP or structural restrictions.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and technical layout options for client meetings.
• Coordinate with the estimation team to align finalized designs with detailed BOQs and quotations.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, carpenters, painters, and other teams to ensure designs and material selections are implemented accurately.
• Maintain organized design files, revised drawings, material catalogues, and client-approved documents.
• Support the team throughout the design and fit-out process to ensure projects are delivered according to approved concepts and specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of interior design experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of 3DS Max or SketchUp.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and MS Office.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, space planning, and interior fit-out.
• Ability to conduct site visits and coordinate effectively with project/site teams.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design tasks.
• Females will be given priority
