Job summary

AKS Prime Group in Dubai invites an experienced Interior Designer with a focus on luxury residential and hospitality projects. You will develop concepts from client brief through final design packages, create mood boards, space plans, and technical drawings, and coordinate with architects, suppliers, and the visualization team to deliver refined spaces.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Interior Design or Architecture, 3–7+ years of luxury experience, and is fluent in English

• 3–7+ years of experience in luxury residential, hospitality, or high-end commercial interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or ArchiCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts from client brief to final package.
• Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and design narratives.
• Produce space planning layouts and presentation drawings.
• Research and specify furniture, lighting, materials, finishes, and joinery.
• Prepare FF&E specifications and material schedules.
• Create detailed technical drawings and interior design packages.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, suppliers, and manufacturers.
• Review shop drawings and samples for design intent compliance.
• Collaborate with visualization team on photorealistic renderings.
• Participate in client presentations and internal reviews.

Our client is a leading international architecture and interior design studio specializing in luxury residential, hospitality, and bespoke commercial projects. The studio is renowned for creating timeless, highly detailed spaces where architecture, interiors, craftsmanship, and art seamlessly come together.

They are seeking a talented Interior Designer with exceptional creativity, strong technical expertise, and a refined eye for detail to join their growing design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts from the initial client brief through to the final design package.
• Prepare mood boards, concept presentations, material palettes, and design narratives.
• Produce space planning layouts and presentation drawings.
• Research, select, and specify furniture, lighting, materials, finishes, fabrics, sanitaryware, and bespoke design elements.
• Prepare FF&E specifications, material schedules, and comprehensive design documentation.
• Develop detailed technical drawings and interior design packages.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure design accuracy and project quality.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and samples to ensure compliance with the approved design intent.
• Collaborate with the visualization team to produce high-quality photorealistic renderings.
• Participate in client presentations and internal design reviews.
• Stay up to date with international design trends, luxury brands, innovative materials, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 3–7+ years of experience in luxury residential, hospitality, or high-end commercial interior design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing excellent design creativity and technical capabilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or ArchiCAD (ArchiCAD preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Procreate, and 3ds Max.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing and interior design documentation.
• Excellent knowledge of premium materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and bespoke joinery.
• Experience preparing FF&E packages and material specifications.
• Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
