Job summary

GBM seeks an Integration Practice Leader in Dubai to own enterprise integration strategy, API programs, and delivery excellence across GCC. You will drive presales, solution architecture and modernization initiatives leveraging IBM technologies and hybrid-cloud platforms.

You will lead strategic accounts, build a credible roadmap, and grow GBM’s integration business by shaping architectures and governance frameworks for secure, AI-ready integrations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, with at least 7 years specializing in integration, middleware and API platforms.
• Hands-on expertise with IBM integration technologies — webMethods, API Connect, App Connect Enterprise, IBM MQ, Event Streams (Kafka) and DataPower; Cloud Pak for Integration experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of API-led and event-driven architectures, microservices and API governance.
• Proven track record of growing an integration business — building pipeline, closing large deals and delivering complex, multi-year integration programs.
• Experience delivering integration solutions across banking, government, telecoms or energy sectors in the GCC region.
• IBM integration certifications are highly advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication and storytelling skills — able to connect integration architecture to business outcomes for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Integration practice strategy, offerings, revenue targets and roadmap — covering API management, application integration, messaging, event streaming, B2B/managed file transfer and hybrid integration.
• Act as the primary integration thought leader and trusted advisor for GBM’s strategic accounts — shaping integration and API strategies, target architectures and modernization roadmaps.
• Lead the presales motion for integration opportunities — solution architecture, sizing, proposals, RFP responses and executive presentations at CIO and CTO level.
• Build and maintain deep expertise across IBM’s integration portfolio — IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration, API Connect, App Connect Enterprise, IBM MQ, Event Streams and Event Automation, DataPower Gateway, Aspera and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration on Red Hat OpenShift.
• Drive integration modernization programs — migrating legacy ESB and middleware estates to containerized, cloud-native and hybrid integration platforms.
• Position integration as the foundation for agentic AI — exposing enterprise systems as governed APIs and tools for AI agents and applying AI-assisted integration capabilities.
• Own the IBM integration partnership relationship — joint account planning, enablement, certifications, partner programs and co-selling with IBM and Red Hat teams.
• Contribute to thought leadership content, industry events, client workshops and proof-of-concepts that accelerate pipeline and shorten sales cycles.

Role Overview:

The Integration Practice Leader is GBM’s subject matter authority for enterprise integration, APIs and event-driven architecture — owning the strategy, go-to-market, presales and delivery excellence of the Integration practice built on IBM technologies. This role is responsible for growing the integration business across the GCC region, positioning GBM as the most credible IBM integration partner for hybrid-cloud modernization. The Integration Practice Leader works at the intersection of business strategy, architecture and delivery — helping clients move from fragmented point-to-point connectivity to secure, governed and AI-ready integration platforms.
