Job summary
PPOAR is seeking an Instrument Technician to monitor and maintain instrumentation and control systems at our Abu Dhabi facility. You will work with SCADA and PLC systems, read schematics, and troubleshoot proactively. Strong English communication is required, and overtime may be necessary.
Experience is not mandatory for all candidates, as we welcome applicants from abroad or with no prior experience who demonstrate aptitude and technical potential in instrumentation maintenance.
Qualifications
- We are looking for an Instrument Technician with strong technical knowledge in instrumentation and control systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA and PLC systems; ability to read drawings and schematics.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; English communication skills required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain instrumentation and control systems at the facility.
- Read technical drawings and schematics to support maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot potential problems before they become issues.
- Willing to work overtime when needed; communicate effectively in English.
