Job summary

ConFlip in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. You will perform maintenance, calibration, installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs and DCS, electrical wiring and related equipment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, at least five years of hands-on experience, and strong reading of technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience as a technician in instrumentation & control systems.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical wiring, circuit analysis & electronic components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in written & verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
• Work with electrical and electronic systems, PLCs, and DCS.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure proper functioning of instrumentation.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Instrument Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, calibration, installation and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems. This includes electrical and electronic systems, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), computers, networking devices, data acquisition systems and other related equipment.

Requirements for the Candidate
