Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to support design, engineering, and execution of instrumentation and control systems for large-scale projects. You will develop instrumentation deliverables, coordinate interfaces across disciplines, and ensure compliance with applicable standards during FEED and Detailed Design.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of instrumentation engineering experience in industrial, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, water or power projects.
FEED and Detailed Design (DD) project execution experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of process instrumentation, industrial automation, and control systems.

Responsibilities

Perform instrumentation engineering and design activities for industrial and infrastructure projects.
Prepare and review instrumentation deliverables including Instrument Index, I/O Lists, datasheets and specifications, P&IDs review, and installation details.
Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Telecom and HSE disciplines to support integrated project execution.
Review vendor drawings and technical documents; provide comments.
Support development of control philosophies, FDS, and operating narratives.
Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL assessments and constructability reviews.
Assist in procurement through technical bid evaluations and vendor clarifications.
Provide engineering support during installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up.
