Job summary

Careers International is seeking an instrumentation commissioning engineer for on-site deployment in Dubai. You will manage loop checks, calibrations, and integration testing across industrial systems, coordinating with automation and electrical teams to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of instrumentation experience.
• Strong knowledge of PLC DCS and SCADA systems.
• Proficient with calibration tools and techniques.
• Oil & gas or power sector experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and loop diagrams.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Certified in relevant instrumentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct loop checks and function testing for instruments.
• Review and calibrate field devices and transmitters.
• Monitor system integration and interface testing.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues during commissioning.
• Prepare instrumentation commissioning procedures.
• Coordinate with automation and electrical teams.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Assist in training plant operators on instrument usage.
