Job summary

A leading Oil & Gas company in the UAE is seeking an experienced Instrument Supervisor for commissioning E&I systems. The role requires a diploma or bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in the commissioning field. Key responsibilities include overseeing the commissioning process, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and preparing comprehensive reports. Candidates with knowledge of DCS, PLC, and loop testing will excel in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in commissioning of E&I systems in oil & gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, field instruments, and loop testing.
• Experience in EPC/Onshore projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
• Ensure proper installation, calibration, loop checking, and functional testing of instruments.
• Lead and guide commissioning technicians and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely completion of commissioning activities.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures, PTW, and quality standards.
• Prepare daily reports and support punch list clearance.
