Job summary

Kanoo Machinery in Dubai seeks an Instrument Technician to assist with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs on Perkins and non-Perkins engines. You will join a skilled service team, performing revamps and on-call support across the UAE.

The role requires a technical background, a UAE/GCC driving license, and strong reading of schematics. You will work independently, adhering to safety rules and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Design preferred.
• Valid UAE/GCC driving license.
• Ability to read schematic drawings.
• Technical education required.
• Ability to work securely and follow regulations.
• Ability to work independently and forecast tasks.
• Capable of handling varied equipment without supervision.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Honest and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and off-site support across UAE for Perkins and Non-Perkins engines.
• Perform engine revamping, service repairs and AMC support.
• Submit monthly reports on jobs, hours and inquiries.
• Coordinate with end users, OEMs and suppliers for quotes and work orders.
