Job summary

Stag Elevators in Dubai is seeking an Installation Cum Site Visit technician to install, test and commission elevator and home lift systems across Dubai. You will conduct site visits, measurements, alignments, wiring, and safety checks while coordinating with project teams and customers to ensure timely delivery and high quality standards.

Requirements include 3-6 years of experience, ITI/ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, a valid UAE driving licence, and strong safety-conscious

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Elevator technician certification preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission elevator and home lift systems.
• Perform site visits, shaft measurements, and site inspections.
• Check shaft dimensions, pit depth, headroom, and landing openings.
• Handle electrical wiring, controller programming, and safety circuits.
• Troubleshoot installation faults and resolve site issues.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, civil contractors, and customers.
• Ensure proper alignment, levelling, car assembly, and component installation.
• Maintain site visit reports and installation checklists.
• Interact with customers during installation, testing, and service visits.
• Report material shortages and deviations to the manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, testing, and commissioning of elevator and home lift systems.
• Conducting site visits, shaft measurements, and technical site inspections.
• Checking shaft dimensions, pit depth, headroom, landing openings, and overall site readiness.
• Handling electrical wiring, controller programming, and safety circuits.
• Troubleshooting installation-related technical faults and resolving site issues.
• Coordinating with project managers, site engineers, civil contractors, and customers for smooth execution.
• Ensuring proper alignment, levelling, car assembly, and installation of elevator components.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable UAE/Dubai safety standards and company policies.
• Maintaining site visit reports, measurement sheets, installation checklists, service reports, and other documentation.
• Customer interaction during installation, testing, commissioning, and service visits.
• Ensuring timely completion of assigned installation and site activities.
• Reporting material shortages, site deviations, technical issues, and project delays to the concerned manager.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• Elevator technician certification is preferred.
• Relevant UAE/GCC elevator certification, where applicable, will be an added advantage.
• Valid UAE Driving Licence Mandatory, as the role involves regular travel to customer and project sites.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in elevator installation & maintenance.
• Experience in home elevators or imported/European elevator systems is an added advantage.
• UAE/Dubai elevator installation experience will be preferred.
• Experience in site measurement, customer coordination, testing, and commissioning will be an added advantage.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel to different project sites across Dubai.
• Ability to work independently and supervise technicians.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and timely project completion.
• Good English communication skills.
