We are looking for an experienced Food Inspector to be based in UAE who will execute inspections for Food and Cosmetics.

Job Description

  1. Execute inspection upon request from IC coordinator, verifying that all information provided for inspection execution is complete.
  2. Provide technical support as per ISO/IEC 17020 / ISO/IEC 17065 standards, as applicable.
  3. Observe inspectors’ manual (handout) and IJO for inspection execution.
  4. Submit inspection reports to TFS IC office on time, according to deadlines provided by KPIs.
  5. Report any risky information detected during inspection to the Inspection Coordinator, following risk detection guidance provided by IC management.
  6. Handle Security Material supplied by the IC coordinator; report all Security Material movements (used, damaged, and lost) for prompt registration/action.
  7. Use standard security elements for personnel protection to ensure safety during execution.
  8. Report any deviations from standard procedures to the IC Coordinator, in accordance with inspector’s manual, IJO, SGS Policy, SGS Ethic Code, and other applicable mandatory documents.
  9. Report expenses related to inspection execution to the IC Coordinator in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  1. University degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related fields.
  2. Experience in executing inspections.
  3. Knowledge of specific product industry or technician/professional level is an advantage.
  4. Good communication skills and fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  5. Valid UAE driving license.
