Job summary

Safe Gate Technical Inspection in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced inspector to perform Third-Party Inspection (TPI) of lifting equipment, machinery and scaffolding. You will conduct technical tests, ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements, and prepare inspection certificates and reports.

Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree, 2–3 years in TPI, LEEA certification, and a valid UAE driving license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or équivalent.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in Third-Party Inspection.
  • LEEA Certificate is mandatory.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
  • Experience in lifting equipment, machinery, earth-moving equipment, scaffolding and NDT is preferred.
  • Good English communication and technical reporting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection standards and HSE requirements.
  • HSE/Safety Trainer experience is a bonus.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Third-Party Inspection (TPI) of lifting equipment, lifting accessories, earth-moving equipment, machinery, scaffolding and related equipment.
  • Perform technical, visual, functional and applicable testing to ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and safety requirements.
  • Conduct quality control checks and identify defects, unsafe conditions and non-conformities, recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports, certificates, checklists and technical documentation.
  • Conduct re-inspections and verify rectification of identified defects.
  • Coordinate with clients, site representatives and internal teams to ensure smooth inspection activities.
  • Support troubleshooting and diagnostic activities for Caterpillar machinery and LMI.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of inspection procedures and technical practices.
  • Perform other inspection and technical duties as assigned by the Technical Manager / Management.

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Third-Party Inspection.

  • LEEA Certificate is mandatory.

  • Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

  • Experience in lifting equipment, machinery, earth-moving equipment, scaffolding and NDT and other related inspection activities

  • Good English communication and technical reporting skills.

  • Strong knowledge of inspection standards and HSE requirements.

  • HSE/Safety Trainer experience is an advantage.

  • Immediate joiners preferred.
