Job summary

International Community Schools Abu Dhabi seeks qualified teachers to deliver the American curriculum to diverse learners in Abu Dhabi.

You will plan engaging lessons, foster a safe learning environment, assess progress, and communicate with parents and staff, while integrating technology and supporting extracurricular activities.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a PGDE/PGCE and a minimum of two years teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in education or related field.
• PGDE or PGCE qualification required.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Strong understanding of the American curriculum.
• Expertise in lesson planning and classroom management.
• Ability to tailor teaching strategies to diverse learners and cultures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the American curriculum standards.
• Create a safe and supportive learning environment for student exploration.
• Assess and monitor student progress with regular feedback to students and parents.
