International Community Schools (ICS) invites experienced educators to join our English Language Arts program. You will design engaging lessons, align with the American curriculum, and foster a dynamic learning environment for Grades 6–10.

Qualified candidates bring a Bachelor's degree in English or related field, a valid teaching license, 4+ years of ELA experience, and proficiency with CCSS. We value collaboration, technology integration, and compliance with ADEK licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a closely related field.
• Valid teaching license or Teaching Diploma.
• Minimum of 4 years of full-time teaching experience in English Language Arts (Grades 6-10).
• Proficiency in American curriculum standards (CCSS).
• Strong classroom management and pedagogical expertise.
• Competency in integrating educational technology.
• Ability to comply with ADEK regulations and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and deliver engaging English Language Arts lessons aligned with the American curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development and well-being.
• Actively participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
