EDGE Group PJSC in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer on a 1-year fixed-term contract to provide technical support, administration, and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure in secured environments. You will manage servers, storage, virtualization, OS deployments, security hardening, and disaster recovery, while aligning with security policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Four+ years in Infrastructure Support roles.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, and NIST SP 800-53.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux administration, AD, virtualization, storage, backup and endpoint management.
• Security+/Server+/Microsoft/VMware or equivalent are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, storage, and virtualization platforms.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for classified IT systems and users.
• Manage OS configurations, software deployment, patching, and upgrades.
• Implement system hardening, access controls, endpoint security, and secure baselines.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security events.
• Support backup, recovery, DR, and business continuity activities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and maintain documentation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Infrastructure Support Specialist will provide technical support, administration, and maintenance of ITinfrastructure within classified and restricted environments. The role ensures the availability, security, andreliability of servers, endpoints, storage, virtualization, and supporting infrastructure while complying withapplicable security requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, storage, virtualization platforms, and ITinfrastructure.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for classified IT systems and users.
• Manage operating systems, system configurations, software deployment, patching, and upgrades.
• Implement system hardening, access controls, endpoint security, and secure configuration baselines.
• Monitor system health, availability, performance, and security events.
• Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business-continuity activities.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and infrastructure issues.
• Maintain system documentation, asset inventories, configuration records, and operational procedures.
• Support vulnerability remediation, security audits, inspections, and accreditation/authorization activities.
• Ensure classified systems and equipment are securely installed, maintained, transferred, anddecommissioned.
• Coordinate with network and cybersecurity teams to resolve infrastructure and security issues.
• Follow strict security, access-control, need-to-know, and change management procedures.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 4 years experience within an InfrastructureSupport role
• Should have familiarity with DISA STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, and the NIST SP 800-53 framework.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, Active Directory, virtualization, storage, backupand endpoint management.
• Security+, Server+, Microsoft,VMware, or equivalent are desirable.
